Coco Bongo: A high-energy show and nightlife experience just 23 minutes from The Westin.
A Bit Farther (If You Have a Car)
Playa Macao: About 44 minutes from The Westin. A public beach known for its white sands, clear waters, and adventure activities like ATV rides and surfing. One of the few beaches in the Dominican Republic great for surfing.

Blue Mall Punta Cana: The go-to place for anything you forgot or need. Features shops, restaurants, a kid’s area, an adjacent supermarket, and international brands.

Maralia’s Beach Club (API Beach): One of my favorite spots! A beautiful beach with a restaurant, beach club, and a kids' pool.
Aquamarine Beach: Located next to API Beach. A quiet, local beach where you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks. No entry fee.
Juanillo Grill Club: A gorgeous white sand beach with a lively restaurant and beach club.
Eden Roc (Caletón Beach): A stunning private beach with two exceptional restaurants: La Palapa and Blue Grill & Bar. Access requires a per-person fee, which includes breakfast.
Cap Cana Marina: One of the most beautiful and impressive marinas in the Caribbean. Great for a scenic stroll, dining, or just soaking in the view.
Los Establos: Beautiful estate with restaurant, horses and padel courts.
Lago Azul (Blue Lagoon): Family-friendly lagoon where you can swim, do paddle boarding, kayaking, or just relax by a hammock by the lake. It has a restaurant called Wiri Wiri. Free if you are stying in Cap Cana, if not, small entrance fee you can use towards the restaurant.
Scape Park: Great for kids and families that want to explore nature and adventure activities.
